First State Innovation (FSI) is a nonprofit organization that focuses on increasing Delaware’s entrepreneurial capacity. FSI has accomplished this by helping technology-based and early stage businesses find angel and seed capital, business leaders, commercialization assistance, intellectual capital, and other entrepreneurial resources.

Delaware Bio is one of over 40 state affiliates of the Council of State Bioscience Associations (CSBA), a division of the Biotechnology Industry Organization (BIO). Delaware Bio delivers real value to its members by bringing many of the best practices from CSBA to the State of Delaware. Together with other members of CSBA, a strong voice is provided on the national level to influence legislation for the growth of the bioscience industry.

It supports technology commercialization and technology-based economic development on campus and in the Greater Philadelphia region. Their 32 nonprofit shareholders include the University of Delaware and many of the distinguished colleges, universities, hospitals, and research institutions located throughout Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and Delaware. The Science Center has two building partnerships within the Delaware Technology Park.
